• Ghurabaa: Musings of a Stranger Who Loves Life Just as it Has Been Given to Her

    Stories from Pakistan

Some of my most challenging moments were of when I was in Karachi.  A single mom with a nine-year-old son in tow, and living in a land which to me was very unknown.

I knew the language, but that was about all :-).  They say that the most challenging moments are what make you the person that you become and whoever said that was very right  :-)

I could start by writing about life from this day forward, but then it would be a shame if some of my anecdotes of life in Pakistan were not recorded.

So ignore the dates, because many of them have been forgotten, as all I can recall is that I was in Karachi from October 2001 until August 2003.
